Module 5A – Applied Anatomy and Physiology

Course Title:
Applied Anatomy and Physiology

Course Overview:

This course expands upon the knowledge of the human body through the application of Western anatomy and physiology as it pertains to the BodyTalk System coupled with an introduction to the qualities and characteristics attributed to the organs, endocrines and systems by Eastern medical theory and practice.

This Applied Anatomy and Physiology course holds the key to unlocking the door to the incredible world of the human body from macrocosm to microcosm. This is the course that will help to build confidence in the “Further More Specific” line of questioning when working with the anatomy of the human body during BodyTalk sessions. It will also provide a deeper understanding and mastery of incorporating physiology definitions into Items and Formulas. Students will also expand their knowledge of the mind/body connection through the exploration of Consciousness definitions. For students who have not yet taken (Mod 3) BodyTalk: Principles of Consciousness, this class will introduce the significance of defining an item by the theme of consciousness that it represents. For students who have taken (Mod 3) BodyTalk: Principles of Consciousness, this class will provide greater confidence and will enhance focus and vocabulary when working with Consciousness through definitions.

Through this class, each student’s five subtle senses will develop to new levels of acuity while learning the significance of “Details,” the power of the word, the influence of visualization on the subconscious, and the healing influence of touch. The experiential exercises that are explored help to develop not only the physical sense of touch, but the subtle sense of touch, sight, and sound.

This is an invaluable course for students preparing to take their BodyTalk Fundamentals certification exam and for students who are already in practice but yearning to feel more confident in the application of anatomy, physiology, and the mind/body connection in their BodyTalk sessions.

Course Outline

The course is divided into exercises that cover the following topics:

• Details: Building upon the foundations established in (Mod 1(2)) BodyTalk Fundamentals, this course opens up the world of “Details: More Specific” and Physiology and Consciousness definitions by supplying a valuable resource allowing the practitioner to balance the body all the way down to the quantum level. The greatest potential for instantaneous change exists in the quantum realm. This empowers the practitioner with the ability to dive deep.

• The Human Body: Superficial to Deep: This class provides a method of inquiry that allows the practitioner to explore the anatomy of the body from macrocosm to microcosm. Explorations encourage the student to develop a level of comfort with anatomy and physiology by providing an instrumental reference manual and by taking the study of the body off the page and into 3-D

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the student will:

• Be able to navigate anatomical details and physiology and consciousness definitions in a BodyTalk session with more confidence.

• Know how to navigate through the body from system to tissue to cell all the way through chemical and quantum components with ease.

• Understand how to explore the structures of the body as well as items, links and formulas in 3-D by employing the five senses and developing an understanding of the relationship dynamics within the human body.

• Expand their vocabulary when describing the significance of an item or formula to the client.

• Expand their left-brain knowledge which will encourage a wider scope of right-brain exploration.

This course counts for 16 hours of continuing education for Certified BodyTalk Practitioners’ requirements.
